Search by Command

What Is Search by Command?

Search by Command is the simplest and most intuitive way to find candidates in the Talent Community.

Instead of selecting filters or navigating complex forms, you just type what you need in natural language, and the system finds matching candidates for you.

Think of it like talking to an AI assistant:

"Find 5 senior Java developers in Malaysia with Spring Boot experience."

The system processes your request and returns relevant profiles.

What Can Search by Command Understand?

The feature is designed to understand real recruiting concepts, including:

  • Skills
  • Job titles
  • Years of experience
  • Location (country, city)
  • Education
  • Tech stack / tools
  • Seniority level (Junior / Mid / Senior)
  • Industry
  • Certifications

The goal is to focus strictly on professional qualifications.

Note: Search by Command does not support:

  • Salary
  • Remote/onsite preference
  • Candidate job preferences
  • Any other personal expectations

Where Do the Results Come From?

Search by Command scans only the Talent Community β€” a shared, always-growing pool of AI-parsed resumes contributed by recruiters.

You are not searching your personal Talent Pool. You are searching the community's collective talent base.

How to Use Search by Command (Step-by-Step)

Step 1 β€” Open the Talent Community

At the top of the Talent Community page, you'll see a single input bar with the "AI Search" tab selected. This is where you type your request.

Step 2 β€” Type Your Search Request in Natural Language

Write it as if you are speaking normally. Examples of good commands:

  • "5 senior Node.js developers in Singapore with microservices experience"
  • "Mid-level UI/UX designer in Indonesia with Figma and wireframing skills"
  • "Python data analyst with SQL + dashboard experience in Vietnam"

Tip: The more details you include, the better the results.

Step 3 β€” Wait for AI to Process Your Command

After pressing Enter:

  • The system analyzes your command.
  • A loading indicator appears.
  • Processing may take up to 1 minute.
  • You must wait until the AI finishes β€” background processing is not supported.

Why it takes time: The system performs deep semantic analysis and intelligent filtering across the entire Talent Community.

Step 4 β€” View the Search Results

Once ready, the results appear directly below the search bar. Each result displays:

  • The AI-parsed profile
  • Highlighted text showing what matched your command
  • The point cost required to unlock the full CV

You can scroll through the list to explore more.

If no candidates match, the system simply shows:

No candidates found

What You Can Do With Each Result

1. Preview Profile

View the structured AI-generated profile, including skills, experience, education, and work history.

2. Buy CV (using points)

Unlocks:

  • Personal contact information
  • The original PDF resume

3. Favorite Resume

Save the profile so you can return to it later.

Search Command Cache (Short-Term)

The system temporarily stores your recent search commands so you can:

  • Re-run them quickly
  • Avoid retyping
  • Compare results later

The cache lasts only a few hours, ensuring results stay fresh and up-to-date.

When Should You Use Search by Command?

Search by Command is ideal when you:

  • Want fast, intelligent search without filters
  • Prefer a natural, conversational way to find candidates
  • Are working on multiple roles and need to test different search ideas
  • Want to explore the Talent Community efficiently
  • Need accurate, AI-driven results without manual filtering

It's built for speed, simplicity, and clarity.

Important Reminder

Search by Command works best when you describe what you need clearly β€” skill + role + experience + location.

Type naturally. The AI will understand.
